Our Mission

Stoney Creek Church Child Care Center affirms that each child is created uniquely and deserves educational resources on an individualized learning basis. Providing a solid foundation for a child's development begins by offering hands-on curriculum instruction in the classroom, as well as, creative play and learning techniques inspired when children interact together. All children are teachers and learn from one another starting at an early age. Therefore, child-initiated activities are encouraged in the classroom along with teacher created themes and what they learn throughout their environment. Our purpose and mission is to support and encourage your child to achieve their goals and succeed.

Our Programs

After School

We provide after school pick-up for Northeast, Northwest, Fremont, and Tommy's Road Elementary Schools. Afternoon snack and homework assistance is provided daily. Enrollment for the 2027-28 school year will open in March of 2027. Please keep in mind that spots on the van are limited. Once your application is received, you will only be billed for the registration fee if there is a spot for your child.

Students at Wayne School of Engineering that have chosen Stoney Creek Church as the bus location have the option to be part of our Afterschool program for $35/week. Email our director for more information!

Registration Fee of $75.00 per child to secure spot

Please keep in mind that your child's spot is not guaranteed until you have received an invoice on the Brightwheel app for the registration fee that must be paid within one week.

Afterschool Enrollment 2026-27

All spots at Northeast, Northwest, Tommy's Road, and Fremont Schools are completely filled for both before and after school care this year. If you are interested in being added to our waitlist or you would like to be a part of Afterschool from WSE, please fill out the link above.

Summer Camp

Summer Camp offers opportunities for children to have fun while out of school! We incorporate weekly field trips, swimming, and weekly themed activities. Children will participate in age-appropriate activities planned by their lead teachers and assistants.

Parents are required to provide a nutritious morning snack and lunch for their child daily.

To enroll your child/children, please complete the following steps:

Registration Fee of $75.00 per child

only billed if space is available for your child/linked within the admissions packet
must be paid within one week of the invoice date

Please note that completing the enrollment application does not guarantee a spot for your child. You will receive an invitation to complete the admission packet and pay the registration fee if your child is in the program.

Preschool

Our Preschool Program provides educational and creative learning experiences for children 3 to 5 years old preparing them for Kindergarten entry. Activities and curriculum are provided based on the age and on the individual needs of the child. Biblical curriculum are also included with stories, songs, and prayer. This Monday-Thursday, 9:00-12:00 program has 3-day per week and 4-day per week options. We begin our year the Tuesday following Labor Day and end the week prior to Memorial Day! Enrollment for 2027-28 begins March 2027!

Both our 3-year-old class and our 4-year-old classes are full for this upcoming school year. Keep an eye on our website for next year's enrollment which will begin in March 2027!
