Stone’s Last Resort is more than just a venue; it is the dream we have been building for years. Our story began in 2022 when Josie Muchmore and Elizabeth Wagner met while working at Party City. What started as a friendship quickly grew into a shared passion for creating unforgettable experiences and bringing people together.
As Josie pursued a Hospitality Management degree from the University of Arkansas and Elizabeth earned her Agricultural Business degree from Metropolitan Community College, they continued gaining experience in the hospitality and events industry. After working together at Stoney Creek Hotel & Conference Center, they knew they wanted to create a place that combined their love for events, agriculture, and the outdoors.
Today, Stone’s Last Resort is a place where those passions come together to create unforgettable gatherings, lasting memories, and meaningful moments for every guest who walks through our doors.
This blog post is a work in progress... please check our social medias for updates in the near future.
