This Privacy Policy applies to all mobile applications and digital products developed and published by Stone Byte ("we", "us", or "our") on the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and any other platforms. By downloading or using any of our applications ("App" or "Apps"), you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
This policy is designed to be generic and applies universally across all current and future apps under the Stone Byte developer account unless a specific app has its own supplemental privacy policy.
• Account information such as name, email address, or username if you register or sign in.
• Content, text, prompts, or inputs you submit while using app features.
• Communications you send us, such as support requests or feedback.
• Content reports submitted via in-app reporting features, including content identifiers, violation categories, and optional written descriptions.
• Device information: device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
• App usage data: features used, session duration, in-app navigation, and interaction events.
• Crash reports and diagnostic logs to help us identify and fix issues.
• Referral or install source data to understand how users discover our Apps.
• IP address and general geographic region (country/region level only).
Some of our Apps use artificial intelligence to generate content such as images, videos, logos, or text based on your inputs. Such inputs and outputs are processed on our servers. We do not use your personal generated content to train AI models without your explicit consent, and we do not claim ownership of content you create using our Apps.
If an App offers in-app purchases or subscriptions, payment processing is handled entirely by Google Play or Apple App Store. We do not collect or store your payment card details. We may receive confirmation of a purchase (e.g., subscription status) from the platform to unlock premium features.
We use collected information to:
• Provide, operate, and improve our Apps and their features.
• Personalise your in-app experience based on your preferences and usage.
• Process and review content reports to enforce our Community Guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Send transactional notifications (e.g., subscription confirmations, feature updates).
• Send promotional or marketing communications, where you have opted in (you may opt out at any time).
• Analyse aggregated, anonymised usage trends to guide product development.
• Comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
All Apps under the Stone Byte account that feature AI-generated or user-generated content include an in-app reporting mechanism, allowing users to flag content they believe violates our Community Guidelines without leaving the App.
When you submit a content report:
• We collect the content identifier, your selected violation category (such as sexually explicit content, hate speech, violence, misinformation, or spam), and any optional description you provide.
• Reports are reviewed by our moderation team in a timely manner and appropriate action is taken.
• Report data is used solely for safety enforcement purposes and is never shared with third parties for commercial use.
• Report records are retained for up to 12 months for audit and compliance purposes, after which they are securely deleted.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share data only in the following circumstances:
• Service providers: Trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating our Apps (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics), bound by confidentiality agreements.
• Legal compliance: When required by law, court order, or to protect the safety and rights of our users or the public.
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction, with prior notice provided to users.
• Aggregated / anonymised data: We may share anonymised, non-identifiable statistical data with partners or publish it publicly.
Third-party SDKs we may use include Google Analytics for Firebase, Google AdMob, and similar industry-standard tools. These services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.
We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy:
• Account data: Retained while your account is active and for up to 30 days following deletion.
• App-generated content: Temporarily stored to deliver the service; deleted within 30 days of generation unless explicitly saved by you.
• Content reports: Retained for up to 12 months.
• Crash logs and diagnostics: Retained for up to 90 days.
• Anonymised analytics: May be retained indefinitely in aggregated form.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure server infrastructure, and restricted internal access controls. While we take all reasonable precautions, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights, we will notify affected users within 7 business days via email.
Our mobile Apps do not use browser cookies. Our websites or web-based components may use essential cookies for session management and performance analytics. We do not use advertising or behavioural tracking cookies. We honor Do Not Track (DNT) signals and do not serve behavioural advertising when a DNT mechanism is active.
Our Apps are not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through one of our Apps, please contact us immediately and we will promptly delete such information.
Depending on your country or region, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
• Portability: Request a machine-readable copy of your data where applicable.
• Objection: Object to processing of your data for direct marketing purposes.
• Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us.
California residents have additional rights under CalOPPA and the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to request deletion, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
EU/EEA residents have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Our servers and service providers may be located in countries outside your own. By using our Apps, you consent to your information being transferred to and processed in these countries, which may have different data protection laws. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.
Our Apps may contain links to third-party websites or services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you interact with through our Apps.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Apps, legal requirements, or business practices. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document and notify users via email (where an email address is on file) or via an in-app notification. Continued use of our Apps after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
