A good sauna session will make you sweat a lot! Please shower and clean your feet before going in, as sauna etiquette encourages sweating from a fresh body. Stay well-hydrated before, during, and after your session. Bring a water bottle and a clean towel to sit on inside the sauna and slide on shoes if you have them.
Listen to your body. When you start feeling too hot, step outside to cool down in the fresh air or water before returning for another round. Most people enjoy 10-15 minutes of heat followed by cooling breaks, repeating the cycle two or three times.
