If you arrive on or before 1 September: Note that on September 1st at 15.00 the national outdoor alarm signal is tested. If you hear loud sirens at that time you don’t need to worry.
The currency in Sweden is Swedish Krona (SEK). Cash is never needed in Sweden and is in fact often not even accepted. Cards from Visa and Mastercard are always accepted either by contactless or chip with pin code. Other major providers like American Express and Diners are usually accepted. If you want to withdraw cash, you should use ATMs by the company Bankomat.
The fastest and easiest way to get from the airport is to use the Arlanda Express train. This will get you to the Stockholm Central station in the city centre. Tickets can be bought online or in ticket machines at the station.
You can of course also take a taxi. Be aware that there are scammers that will charge you excessively. If you have not prebooked a taxi you should go to the official taxi stand where airport staff can help you. You can read more here.

Uber and Bolt are also available options.
If you arrive by Arlanda Express: Follow the signs towards Kungsbron and follow the directions here.
If you arrive by mainline train or night train: Follow the signs towards Klarabergsviadukten and follow the directions here.
Stockholm has excellent public transit including metro, trams, buses, ferries and other rail services. All services are run by SL. You can find out more here.
If you have a contactless debit or credit card, you simply put your card on the card reader to get a single journey fare (including any transfers within 75 min).
You can also use the SL-app to buy a ticket.
Every metro station has a ticket booth where staff can help you with tickets and other questions about the services.
The workshop is held at Piperska muren at Scheelegatan 14.
The closest metro station is Rådhuset on the blue metro line. The exits are quite spread out, so follow the signs for Polhemsgatan / Bergsgatan.
The bus lines 1 and 3 stop nearby. For line 1 use the stop Scheelegatan and for line 3 use Kungsholmstorg.
The conference dinner is held at Hasselbacken.
You can get there by taking tram line 7 from the Central station to Liljevalchs / Gröna Lund.
A nice and scenic way to get there is also to take the ferry Djurgårdsfärjan 82 from Slussen to Allmänna Gränd.
