StockPilot – Privacy Policy

Thank you for using StockPilot.

Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information StockPilot stores, how it is used, how it is backed up, and how we protect your information.

By using StockPilot, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

1. About StockPilot

StockPilot is an Offline-First Business Management App designed to help small and medium-sized businesses manage products, inventory, purchases, sales, customers, suppliers, expenses, due payments, and business reports.

StockPilot is primarily designed to work offline. Your business information is mainly stored locally on your device.

We do not operate our own server to collect or store your business records.

2. Information Stored in StockPilot

Depending on how you use the app, StockPilot may store the following information.

2.1 Shop and Owner Information

During the first-time setup, you may provide:

• Shop name
• Owner name
• Shop type or category

This information is used to personalize your StockPilot dashboard and app experience.

2.2 Business Information

You may store business-related information such as:

• Product information
• Inventory and stock records
• Purchase records
• Sales records
• Profit and loss information
• Daily and monthly reports
• Expense records
• Customer information
• Supplier information
• Due payment records

2.3 Customer and Supplier Information

Depending on the information you enter, StockPilot may store customer and supplier details, including:

• Name
• Phone number
• Other business-related information entered by you

This information is used to manage customers, suppliers, sales, purchases, and payment dues.

3. How Your Information Is Stored

StockPilot primarily stores your information in a local database on your device.

Your business data is not routinely uploaded to or stored on servers operated by Mhannan Soft Lab.

StockPilot does not sell your personal or business information to third parties.

4. Android Auto Backup

StockPilot supports Android's built-in Auto Backup functionality.

When Auto Backup is enabled on your Android device, certain supported app data and preferences may be backed up through Android's backup infrastructure.

This may allow your app data to be restored when you move to or set up another Android device using the same Google account and applicable Android backup settings.

Backup and restoration are handled by Android/Google according to the applicable Google and Android services and policies.

Mhannan Soft Lab does not independently receive, operate, or store these backups on its own servers.

The availability and restoration of backed-up data may depend on your device, Android version, Google account, backup settings, and other technical factors.

5. Manual Backup and Restore

StockPilot also provides Backup and Restore functionality.

When you create a manual backup, StockPilot uses Android's Storage Access Framework (SAF).

You choose where the backup file is saved.

StockPilot only accesses the file or folder that you explicitly select through Android's file picker.

The developer does not automatically receive or upload your manual backup files to its own servers.

You are responsible for keeping your backup files secure and for choosing a safe storage location.

6. Device Permissions

StockPilot uses only the permissions needed to provide its available features.

Notification Permission

Notification permission may be used to show reminders and notifications, including payment due reminders.

The notification permission itself is not used to collect personal information.

Internet Permission

StockPilot may use internet access to display online pages such as this Privacy Policy and the Terms & Conditions inside the app.

Your business records are not routinely transmitted to Mhannan Soft Lab's servers.

Storage / File Access

StockPilot does not request unrestricted access to your device storage.

For manual Backup and Restore, StockPilot uses Android's Storage Access Framework. The app can access only the files or folders that you explicitly select.

Camera Permission

If a future version includes barcode scanning, camera access may be used solely to scan product barcodes.

The camera would not be used to collect or upload personal photos or videos to Mhannan Soft Lab's servers.

7. Advertisements

StockPilot currently does not display advertisements.

We do not currently use advertising services such as Google AdMob in StockPilot.

If advertising is introduced in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated to explain the relevant data practices before or when the feature is introduced, as applicable.

8. Third-Party Services

StockPilot currently does not use third-party services to collect or analyze your business records for advertising or commercial purposes.

However, Android and Google services may process certain app or device data when features such as Android Auto Backup are enabled.

Such services operate under their own applicable terms and privacy policies.

If StockPilot introduces additional third-party services in the future, such as analytics, advertising, cloud synchronization, or authentication services, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe the relevant data practices.

9. Data Security

We take reasonable technical measures to help protect the information stored by StockPilot.

However, no application, device, backup system, or digital storage method can guarantee absolute security.

We recommend that you:

• Use a secure screen lock on your device.
• Keep your Android device and StockPilot updated.
• Create regular backups of important business information.
• Keep manual backup files in a secure location.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, Google account, and manually created backup files.

10. Data Deletion

StockPilot allows you to manage and delete information stored within the app.

Depending on the available features, you may be able to:

• Edit your business information.
• Delete products and records.
• Delete customer or supplier information.
• Delete expenses and other records.
• Create and delete manual backup files.
• Uninstall the app to remove locally stored app data.

If data has already been included in an Android or Google backup, the availability and deletion of that backup may be controlled by Android/Google backup services and your device or account settings.

11. Children's Privacy

StockPilot is intended for business and general productivity purposes.

The app is not specifically designed for children under 18.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for the purpose of providing the service.

12. Your Choices and Responsibilities

You control the business information that you enter into StockPilot.

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information.
• Deciding what customer and supplier information to store.
• Keeping your device secure.
• Managing your Google account and backup settings.
• Keeping manual backup files secure.
• Creating regular backups of important business data.

13. Data Sharing

Mhannan Soft Lab does not sell your personal information or business records.

We do not routinely share your business records with third parties.

However, certain app data may be processed by Android/Google backup infrastructure when Android Auto Backup is enabled on your device.

Any future third-party service that involves collecting, processing, or sharing user data will be disclosed through an updated Privacy Policy and, where applicable, the Google Play Data Safety section.

14. Future Features

StockPilot may introduce additional features in future versions, such as:

• Cloud Backup
• Cloud Sync
• Multi-device Support
• Google Sign-In
• Employee Accounts
• Premium Features
• Advertising or Analytics

If a future feature changes how user data is collected, stored, processed, or shared, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time due to:

• New features
• Technical improvements
• Changes in third-party services
• Changes in legal or regulatory requirements

When we make changes, we will update the Last Updated date at the top of this Privacy Policy.

Your continued use of StockPilot after an updated Privacy Policy is published means that you acknowledge the updated policy.
