Cartoon Caption Contest

Welcome to our TCS-themed Cartoon Caption Contest (in the spirit of the New Yorker's contest, but better since it involves TCS).

Caption Contest! Below we have two cartoons in need of funny, TCS-themed captions. πŸ“ Submit your captions here: [link] πŸ“ by noon on Thursday 6/23.

Reverse Caption Contest! There is also one caption in need of a cartoon! (Below the cartoons). Submit your cartoon ✏️ in one of the following ways by noon on Thursday 6/23:

  1. Email an image to marykw@stanford.edu with the subject line "Reverse Caption Contest"

  2. Physically hand your drawing to Mary Wootters at the conference. [Pro-tip: you can reliably find Mary at either the Coding Theory workshop or the TCS Women workshop. Stay for the workshops, all are welcome!]

  3. If you don't feel like drawing something but have a great idea, you can submit a description of what your cartoon would look like at the link above.

Winners will be announced at the business meeting. The funniest TCS-related captions will receive a limited-edition STOC mug, as well as fame and glory!
