As Children's Day is observed, students are reminded of the great potential that each child holds.
This day, which honours Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Ji's vision, is not only a time for joy and festivity, but also an opportunity to reflect on their own well-being. The concept of Sakal Swasthya, a comprehensive approach to health encompassing physical, mental and emotional well-being, is also emphasized.
True health is not just about being free from illness but also about nurturing a balanced life. A healthy body, a sharp mind and a positive spirit forms the foundation of a fulfilling life. In today’s fast-paced world, it is crucial for students to prioritize their well-being. Maintaining a proper diet, engaging in regular physical activity and ensuring mental relaxation are essential in achieving overall health.
As young learners, it is their responsibility to take charge of their health. Whether through practicing mindfulness, playing sports or simply taking breaks to relax, they can all contribute to their Sakal Swasthya—total health. Moreover, building emotional resilience, discussing feelings and supporting each other are vital practices for maintaining mental well-being.
Students have the power to shape their future by taking small steps toward a healthier, happier life. By continuing to inspire each other, they can grow into strong, confident and well-balanced individuals, making positive contributions to the world around them. They are encouraged to embrace Sakal Swasthya and take steps toward a brighter and healthier future.
"To keep the body in good health is a duty… otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear." – Buddha
Let’s embrace Sakal Swasthya and walk towards a brighter and healthier future.
Happy Children’s Day!
