Mrs. Fickes and Miss Mayse provide individual counseling for students (usually 15- to 30-minute sessions) in coordination with school staff and students' families.
If your child is struggling with stress or anxiety, sadness or grief, attention deficit or hyperactivity, loneliness, or low self-esteem, individual counseling may be helpful. Children experiencing changes in their families (e.g., the arrival of a new baby, divorce, remarriage, or the loss of a loved one) may also benefit from counseling. Ms. Haney and Mrs. Statczar can also provide social and emotional support to children facing academic- and/or peer-related difficulties.
In addition to providing individual counseling, Mrs. Fickes and Miss Mayse can offer preventative and skill-building programs for groups of students, their families, and school staff.
