The organ
The organ at St Mary Magdalene was supplied by Thomas S. Jones & Son of 51, Hanley Road [Marlborough Works], Finsbury Park, London. It was built in 1914. The case is undated. There 32 keys.
The organ was rebuilt in 1970 by W. and A. Boggis, when it was moved from the south side of the chancel. At the time, a
"Fifteenth [was] added in place of Dulciana and [the] bottom octave grooved to Stop Diap". It was surveyed by the national Pipe organ Register in 2001, when it was found to be in "good condition".
The organ building firm of Thomas Sidwell Jones (1830-1899) was founded in London in 1854 and specialised in small organs for village churches and residences.
