Our Mission: Education Equity

Education Equity- Equity in education means that personal or social circumstances such as gender, ethnic origin or family background, are not obstacles to achieving educational potential and that all individuals reach at least a basic minimum level of skills.

Our Hawkeye Service team traveled to St. Louis to learn about Education Equity in low income communities. We wanted to learn more about what the students were being offered in their school in terms of achieving success, literacy, equal opportunities, and quality
