Parent Council Fundraising and Events

Throughout the year, the Parent Council run a number of fundraising events to bring the community together and raise funds for our school. Over the past couple of years these have included Christmas Fairs, a Family Ceilidh, a Quiz, a Playground Picnic and an in-school Summer Party - all these events are great fun for the children and parent volunteers alike!

Alongside our main events are our Christmas and Summer raffles which have been a roaring success and as always we give huge thanks to our generous raffle sponsors and parents for the incredible prize donations.

Once funds are raised, we also ensure that the school have the opportunity to spend them. In the academic year 2023/24 the Parent Council approved funds for:

School Sumdog subscription

PE resources for indoor and outdoor use

Disco light hire for school disco

Christmas Pantos within school for P1-P7 and as a trip for nursery

School clipboards

School headphones

A contribution to participation in the Glee competition

We are also committed to continued improvement of the school playground and a class trip for every class in the coming year

HOW DO I DONATE?

Donations to the Parent Council are welcome at any time, not just during our fundraisers or fairs! Any donation, large or small, is hugely appreciated. Cash or cheque donations can be sent in with your child in a sealed envelope marked “Parent Council donation”.

If paying by bank transfer, please use payment reference “Donation”.
