Meet Our Staff

Pastor Frank became our Pastor in October of 2025. He is originally from Dubuque, Iowa. He got his MDiv at the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary, in Dubuque, IA. He graduated in May of 2020 and was ordained in the United Church of Christ in November of 2024.

Pastor Frank has served at First Presbyterian Church in Galena, Il, Scotch Grove Presbyterian Church in Scotch Grove, IA, and Peace United Church of Christ in Monticello, IA.

Pastor Frank has been married to his wife Carrie since 2010. They have their two children, Isabella (24), and their son Frankie Ray (12) and the family dog, Ruby. Pastor Frank’s daughter is following in his footsteps and is serving as a youth director at a Monticello Church.

When Pastor Frank is not doing ministerial work, he is usually with his family, or building a LEGO set. He is happy to be the pastor for St John’s and prays for many years of shared ministry.

Bobette and her husband David, with their children, moved to Clarence in 1987. One of their main focuses was to find a home church and they found that at St. John's.

Bobette has been a Sunday School teacher, participated in Vacation Bible School, enjoyed playing handbells with the "Ding-A-Ling" bell group. She is a member of the Women's Fellowship and involved in the "Lend A Hand" group. She has been on the church council, participated as a greeter, and on the cookie committee.

After retiring from a local cooperative, she began working part time as the church secretary. The church secretary position has given her a perfect opportunity to connect with the congregation better!

Bobette's goal is to work with the congregation, church groups and minister to help facilitate with communication and concerns.

Bobette and her husband, David, have 2 adult children. A daughter, Jacque, and a son, Christopher. They have blessed them with 5 granddaughters and 2 grandsons. They all keep them loved, busy and joyful!
