Calling all members for a seat on the Church Council!  The positions up for filling during this important time are Vice-President; Secretary; Elder; 2 Trustees.  A candidate must have been a church member for at least 1 year.  Anyone interested should contact President Tom Sturtevant at 262-309-9148 or any member currently on the Council.

Pastor Reiff retired effective June 30, 2023.   Our interim pastor will be Rev John Krueger (Pastor John), who, as a member, knows our congregation well.  He began his duties on July 1st.  Please notify President Tom Sturtevant at 262-309-9148 or Church Secretary Barb Leichtfuss at 920-456-9240 for any emergencies or other congregational needs.

We will now start the lengthy process of finding a new full-time pastor for St. John's.  We need congregants willing to serve on committees for this purpose.  Ideally each committee should consist of a variety of persons, namely, men and women;  young; older; married; single; those with children.   The following committees have been established with a contact person for each person.  Please prayerfully consider volunteering to serve on a committee.

The Call Committee - to determine our needs and find a new Pastor to meet them.   Contact Mike Hartman at 920-527-8051.

The Finance Committee - to find/disburse appropriation of funds for parsonage repairs.  Contact Karen Stahmann at 920-204-4003

The Parsonage Committee - to determine and assist with parsonage repairs.  Contact Steve Bauer at 920-379-8231

           Welcome to St. John's

St. John’s is a country church south of Oshkosh and north of Fond du Lac and well worth the short drive. Our pastor delivers  amazing sermons and is dedicated to his chosen profession. We believe that he is one of the best in his field, in that respect. He reminds us of our duties as Christians, to spread God’s word, ask for forgiveness of our sins, and to put our faith in Jesus. At St. John’s Church, we believe in following the scriptures and that salvation lies in Jesus Christ.  Please join us.

Tom Sturtevant- President

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

Our Values

St. John’s is a church family committed to the authority of the Bible as the inspired Word of God. In keeping with the Lutheran Confessions, we believe all doctrines should and must be judged by the teaching of Scripture… it matters

Our Faith

Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and the Gospel as the power of God for the salvation of all who believe. We confess Jesus Christ is the Word of God incarnate, through whom everything was made and through whose life, death…
