We are St. John's Lutheran Church in Clinton, South Carolina. We are part of the South Carolina Synod in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
As we have experienced the unconditional grace of God, our vision is to make the grace and love of Jesus known to all. In our homes, congregation, community, and world. We worship together, we learn together, we serve together, and we play together.

Recently, we have returned to in-person worship. We will be worshipping inside the Sanctuary at St. John's at 11am on Sunday mornings. For us to be able to do that, we have to abide by these guidelines:
Everyone MUST have their temperatures taken as you come into the building
Everyone MUST fill out a form that will be available as you come inside
On this form, you will need to agree that you:
Haven't had any COVID-19 symptoms
Haven't been around anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19
Will communicate to St. John's if you start experiencing symptoms or test positive within 14 days after attending an in-person worship service
Everyone MUST have a mask covering their mouth and nose the entire time you're in the building
Everyone MUST maintain a minimum 6-foot social distance from anyone not in their bubble.
We understand that these are a lot of rules, but in order to maintain a proper amount of safety, we must abide by them.
If you come and choose not to abide by these, you will be asked to leave so that you can go home and worship virtually.
Safety is the most important thing for us to consider
If you'd rather or need to stay at home or aren't comfortable abiding by the guidelines, we'll have a virtual worship offering.
We'll be streaming the worship service, starting at 11am on Sunday mornings on our Facebook page.
We will send out the bulletins on the Friday or Saturday before worship via email, on the website, and on our Facebook page.
If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to ask. Thanks for your understanding and flexibility!
