Use chalk to write addition or subtraction math facts OR create an addition or subtraction hopscotch game

Go on a shape scavenger hunt! What shapes can you find in nature?
Let your child count your change that you get from a cashier. If they are correct, they can keep it!
Play Bingo but instead of saying the number say a math problem that equals that number. Or have your child create their own board using math problems.
If you have an old board game laying around, have your child create their own math board game - like math land.
Use LEGO pieces to help visual multiplication. Have your child create a lego visual for specific numbers like 24, 40, 15, 42, etc. or have them make a model for each number from 1-50!
Go on a scavenger hunt and see what shapes, angles, and lines you can find in nature!
Using a beach ball, write multiplication (or division!) facts all around it. Toss is around and where your right hand or thumb lands is the problem that you must solve!
Use pancakes, tortillas, pizza, or hershey bars to help model fractions. Have your child compare fractions with different denominators. Talk about how to add or subtraction fractions with different denominators.
Integer War! You can choose any operation to practice- addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division.
Have your child calculate the tax (6%) or tip % for your next meal out. They can even use this same skills for discounts at stores.
Using 4 random numbers and any operation, see if you can make the number 24. This is a fun challenge that can be done anywhere (even on long drives!)
You can use regular cards, uno cards, dice, dominoes, etc. to create different math games to practice different math skills
War - can be used for any operation (even 2 or 3 digit number) Each person turns over a card. Whoever says the correct answer first keeps the card
Race to Zero - Subtraction with 1-2 digit numbers. Using dice or cards, everyone starts with 100 points. Roll or draw a card and subtract from 100. Whoever gets to 0 wins.
Fraction Games: Two cards or one domino can make a fraction. Play War where each person flips 2 cards to make a proper fraction or uses a domino (can also be played adding, subtracting, multiplying, or dividing the two fractions)
Exponent War - Draw 2 cards. One is your base and the other is the exponent. Whoever has the bigger answer keeps the cards.
Yahtzee or 500 is a great game for adding multiple addends. Or create your own similar game where your child adds multiple numbers together
