We are one of the oldest Protestant churches in southern New Mexico, with a colorful history and long record of service to our parishioners and the community in Dona Ana County. At St. James we are a welcoming community of Christians who gather for family worship in the Anglican Liturgical Tradition, to study the Word of God, to learn through excellent Bible preaching, and to serve the world with the love and truth of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. In the Episcopal church, there is a legacy of inclusion, aspiring to tell and exemplify God's love for every human being. People of every kind serve as bishops, priests, deacons, lay ministers, and acolytes.
