Charley Castle is an up-and-coming bluegrass artist from Sydney. Designs for her focus on an old-school country western aesthetic with uniquely australian touches, mainly floral emblems.
Charley is my guinea pig. We work together collaboratively to figure out what her look and style should be, and to help me learn and grow with embroidery. From the start, Charley said the main motif for her was Australian native flowers, and that she wanted to incorporate a red-heavy colour palette. I make and tailor her shirts from scratch, emboidery included.
