The SEI 2019 Doctoral Consortium in Leuven, an initiative of leading business schools to stimulate the European academic labor market.
The R&D Management Conference (RADMA, 2017, Leuven, organizing committee, +/- 150 participants). I also co-organized the 2-day doctoral colloquium for +/- 20 PhD students.
In November 2017, I co-organized the Technology and Innovation Community (TIC) meeting in Leuven, bringing together +/- 25 innovation scholars from the Netherlands and Flanders.
The European Conference on Innovation & Entrepreneurship (2013, Brussels, co-chairman, +/- 100 participants).
Administrative
My main administrative responsibilities include:
From 2016-2020, I was the chairman of the department of Management, Strategy & Innovation of the KU Leuven on its Brussels campus.
From 2012-2015, I chaired the department Globalization, Innovation & Competition at the HUB.
From 2009 to 2016, I was a member of the Education Committee (POC) for the Business Engineering program on the Brussels campus, and the coordinator for the learning track ‘science & technology’.
