Introduction to philosophy (of science) for undergraduate students in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, computer science, and earth sciences.

The course looks at traditional topics such as explanation, realism and induction as well as episodes from the history of science and various topics relating to the relations between science and society.

KU Leuven, Institute of Philosophy, 2020 - 2021.

This course is the first introduction to philosophy of science that philosophy undergraduates at KU Leuven get. In addition to traditional topics like the demarcation question and laws of nature, this course looks at questions concerning values in science, science and society, and how institutional factors affect science.

Research seminar and thesis for final-year undergraduate students in philosophy. In this seminar, we looked at various questions that come up in the interaction between science and society: Which research topics should we prioritize? What roles should values play in the inferential stages of science? What role should experts and policy-makers play in dealing with uncertainty (inductive risk)?

I was responsible for undergraduate supervisions in Cambridge of courses in the Natural Sciences Tripos, the Philosophy Tripos, and the Biological and Biomedical Sciences. Over the course of my PhD, I did supervisions for the following courses:
