I am Ms. Stiglich-Creamer (but I go just by Ms. Stiglich) and I earned my degree in education from Eastern University, located in the suburbs of Philadelphia, and obtained my Masters in Education from Middle Tennessee State University. I spent seven years working for Liberty Elementary School in upstate New York before relocating and spent an additional eight years teaching at Cherry Hill’s Kingston Elementary School followed by two years at Collingswood’s James A. Garfield Elementary School. In addition, I have also spent time working for Saint Joseph’s Prep’s Camp Magis leadership program for upper elementary school boys teaching computer science as well as serving as the Technology Coordinator and then as the Curriculum Coordinator for the nonprofit New Hope Community. At Lindenwold School 5, I teach 5th grade math and science.
My mission as a teacher is to help your child discover or further foster both a joy of learning and a strong belief in his or her own ability. This will be my 20th year in education. I love this age group because students are really discovering their independence and their ownership of their learning. I enjoy being a part of giving them strong educational practices as roots while helping them develop their wings to fly. I want them to do their best and have a sense of pride in what they are achieving. I want this school year to be an educational adventure we all go on together, full of excitement, achievements, collaboration, and growth.
Outside of school, I love to read memoirs and autobiographies. I also love being outdoors, especially hiking. I like playing board games and video games. My favorite hobby is eating…particularly sweets, but that is hard because unfortunately I have a gluten allergy. The hobby that takes up the most of my free time is being a seamstress, lead costumer, and being on the Board of Directors for the last remaining Philadelphia Mummers Fancy Division Club, Golden Sunrise. Each year you can catch me on tv when I participate with my daughters in the Mummers Parade on New Year's Day. I have two daughters. Amita is in her freshman year and attends Camden County Technical School to be a welder. Jayla is a Junior also attending a technical high school within the graphic design program. I also have two cats, Uma and Evee, a very large great dane dog named "Sweety" Stevie Cookie Dough Irwin and a frenchin named Dolly Pookie Parton.
