Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data Sticky Man — a stickman gravity & momentum platformer — collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. In short: your gameplay progress stays on your own device, and the only outside party involved is Google AdMob, which shows the optional ads that keep the game free.
On this page
1.Overview
Sticky Man ("the Game," "we," "us") is developed and published by [Your Company / Developer Legal Name]. This policy applies to the Sticky Man mobile app on Android and iOS, and to its installable web (PWA) version.
Sticky Man does not require you to create an account, and does not ask for your name, email address, or any other personal contact information to play. Your campaign progress, coins, unlocked skins, settings, and best times are generated by playing the game and are stored only on your own device — we do not operate a game server that receives or stores this information.
The one exception is advertising: the Game shows optional ads (and a rewarded-ad option for in-game bonuses) through Google AdMob, and AdMob collects some device and advertising data on its own behalf, as described in Section 3.
2.Information stored on your device
The Game saves the following directly on your device (using local app/browser storage) so your progress persists between sessions. None of this is transmitted to us or to any server we operate:
Data
Purpose
Level completion, stars, and best times
Tracks your campaign progress and personal-best leaderboard within the app
Coin balance and unlocked skins/backgrounds
Remembers your in-game customization and purchases
Game settings (sound, notification preferences, etc.)
Remembers your preferences between sessions
"Ghost" replay data for completed levels
Lets you race against your own previous best run
This data stays on your device. Uninstalling the app, or clearing the app's storage/site data in your browser, permanently deletes it — we have no copy to restore it from.
3.Information collected by advertising (Google AdMob)
The Game uses Google AdMob (part of Google's Mobile Ads SDK) to show banner, interstitial, and rewarded video ads. When an ad is requested or shown, Google — not us — may collect and process information such as:
Your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID / Apple IDFA)
General device information (device model, operating system, language, time zone)
Approximate location derived from your IP address
App usage and ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, completions)
This data is collected and processed by Google under Google's Privacy Policy and Google's advertising policies, not under any data-handling practice we control. We do not receive or store your advertising identifier ourselves.
Note for reviewers/developers: if this build targets users in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, Google requires collecting consent (via Google's User Messaging Platform / UMP) before requesting ads in those regions. Confirm the app's consent flow is implemented and tested before publishing to those markets — see the project's FIXES-AND-VALIDATION.md for the current status.
4.App permissions
The native app requests only the permissions it needs to run and to show ads:
Permission
Why
Internet access
Required to request and display ads via Google AdMob
Network state
Lets the ad SDK check connectivity before requesting an ad
The Game does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, precise location, or any other sensitive device permission.
5.How information is used
Locally-stored progress is used only to run the game on your device — resuming your campaign, showing your stats, and applying your customizations.
Advertising data collected by Google AdMob is used by Google to select, serve, measure, and prevent fraud on the ads shown in the Game, and to pay us a share of ad revenue for doing so.
We do not use any information collected through the Game for marketing, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to running the Game and showing ads.
6.Data sharing & third parties
We do not sell your data. The only third party involved in the Game is:
Service
Role
Their policy
Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK)
Serves banner, interstitial, and rewarded video ads inside the Game
We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our users, or others — but as noted above, we do not hold meaningful personal data to disclose in the first place.
7.Your choices & rights
Because gameplay data lives only on your device, you're already in full control of it — clearing app storage or uninstalling removes it entirely. For advertising data collected by Google, you can:
Android: Open Settings → Google → Ads, and turn on "Opt out of Ads Personalization," or reset your advertising ID.
iOS: Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and turn off "Allow Apps to Request to Track," or respond "Ask App Not to Track" when prompted.
Any device: Visit adssettings.google.com to manage how Google personalizes ads for you.
If you are in the EEA, UK, California, or another region with statutory privacy rights (access, correction, deletion, portability, or opt-out of sale/sharing), you can exercise those rights over the advertising data Google holds directly with Google, and you can contact us using the details in Section 13 for anything relating to the Game itself.
8.Children's privacy
Sticky Man is [not directed to children under 13 — update this section if you configure the Game or its store listing for a children's/Families audience]. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us using the details in Section 13 so we can address it.
Note for reviewers/developers: if you list this app as directed at children (Google Play Families Policy / Apple "Made for Kids"), AdMob must be configured for child-directed treatment (non-personalized ads only, no rewarded/interstitial formats that aren't kid-safe), and this section must be rewritten to reflect COPPA/GDPR-K obligations rather than the general-audience language above.
9.Retention & deletion
Local gameplay data is retained on your device for as long as the Game remains installed, or until you clear its storage. We do not retain a separate copy. Advertising data collected by Google AdMob is retained according to Google's own retention policies, described in their privacy policy linked above.
10.Security
Because gameplay data stays on your device rather than passing through a server we control, it is protected by your device's own operating-system security (screen lock, disk encryption, app sandboxing, etc.). We recommend keeping your device's OS up to date.
11.International users
The Game can be played anywhere Google Play or the App Store makes it available. Advertising data described in Section 3 is processed by Google, which operates data centers globally; any international transfer of that data is governed by Google's own policies and applicable data-transfer safeguards.
12.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time — for example, if we add a new ad format, a new third-party service, or an account/cloud-save feature. We'll update the "Effective" date at the top of this page when we do. Continuing to use the Game after a change means you accept the updated policy.

Sticky Man Privacy Policy — template drafted for the current build (local-storage-only progress, Google AdMob for ads, no accounts, no server). Replace every highlighted placeholder and remove the developer notes before publishing. This is not legal advice; have counsel review before submitting to app stores, especially if you target the EEA, UK, or a children's audience.
