Hello, my name is Stephen Platzke, but most people know me as Stick. I was born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska, where I lived for 50 years. My woodworking journey began in 2011 in the Goldstream Valley, starting as a simple hobby making cutting boards. Over time, that passion grew into a full-fledged woodworking business—StickBuilt.

I truly love what I do and I put my heart and soul into every piece, bringing a bit of Alaskan style to the deep South.
