Spring Middle School Dance

Time: The dance is from 7PM-9PM.

Drop off: Students may arrive at 7PM. Drop off at the Parish Hall doors (where students eat lunch) (not at the front of the school)

Pick up: Please plan to pick up students promptly by 9PM. Pick up will also be at the Parish Hall doors. If your child is getting a ride home from another family, please include written permission.

Check-In Process: When students arrive, they will check in. Permission slips will be collected and the $10 (per family) event fee will be collected. Check (payable to St. Gabriel) or cash is accepted. If cash is brought, exact change is appreciated. Students will also turn in their cell phones. Phones will be placed in a paper bag labeled with the student name. Students are welcome to check their phones throughout the evening. The objective is for students to socialize with one another, so the limited use of cell phones / devices is put into place for this event.

Dance Theme: The theme of this dance is "Tropical Para-Dance (Paradise)".

Dress Code and Conduct: Students are welcome to dress in Tropical / Hawaiian apparel. Students should dress appropriately (i.e. no tight mini-skirts, tank tops, or inappropriate logos). Basic school rules and expectations apply to this event (student conduct regarding behavior, language, etc.)

Snacks & Refreshments: FREE! HSA is happy to provide refreshments and snacks for students during this event. Students do not need to bring money for a concession stand .

Chaperones: We could use one or two more chaperones. If you are interested, please reach out to Sarah Lang (sarahjane604@gmail.com). If you volunteered to chaperone, please arrive between 6:30 and 6:45 if you are able. This way we can ensure that the snack table is set up, the photo booth is ready, check in processes are ready, and you each know the supervision duties. Thank you for volunteering your time!
