All residents are required to complete one research project with the goal of presentation of project at the Annual Connecticut OBGYN Residency Research Day
Residents have been involved in projects such as randomized controlled trials, retrospective research, cost effectiveness analysis, commentaries, case reports
We have presented posters, oral posters and oral presentations at local, regional and national conferences over the past 4 years including:
Local: Annual OBGYN Connecticut Research Day, CT Chapter American College of Surgeons
Regional: New England Association of Gynecologic Oncology, ACOG District I Meeting
National: ACOG, SGS, SGO, AUGS, NASPAG

Each resident is required to assist in the creation, development and implementation of at least 1 project prior to the start of their chief year of residency
Residents will submit their projects for the D.I.C.E. award given at the end of every academic year.
Tubal ligations and sterilization procedures performed at outside ambulatory surgery center
Full scope of contraception (including IUD, implants) available in resident outpatient clinic
Recently received approval for Ryan grant for termination training to be completed with Hartford GYN Center, to begin post-COVID
