Activities

How We Prepare

Activities at St. Fidelis are counselor-run and planned, as our team of counselors design each day's program to create an unforgettable summer experience. With creativity as their compass, our counselors collaborate to craft a diverse range of engaging activities that cater to the unique interests of our campers.

The different type of activities that we plan are found below:

Types of activities

Athletic

Relating to physical activities that involve strength, agility, and coordination. At camp athletic activities might include sports such as soccer, basketball, or other physical games that promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and physical fitness.

Motor

Referring to activities that involve the use and coordination of muscles and body movements. Motor activities at camp could encompass a wide range, including both fine motor skills (such as arts and crafts) and gross motor skills (jumping, or engaging in outdoor adventure activities).

Cognitive

Pertaining to mental processes such as learning, thinking, and problem-solving. Cognitive activities at camp may involve educational games, puzzles, workshops, or challenges that stimulate intellectual growth, critical thinking, and creativity. These activities aim to enhance campers' cognitive abilities while providing an enjoyable and engaging learning experience.
