The summer school is aimed at all students who will start a UK-based astrophysics PhD in Sept/Oct 2025 (or in the last year since the 2024 summer school). The course is free to attend for all UK-based STFC-funded or self-funded students. Non-STFC funded students are welcome to attend at a cost (see registration page).
The summer school will include lectures on a broad range of topics from Solar Physics to Planetary, Stellar and Galactic Evolution, all the way to Gravitational Waves (see schedule). There will also be sessions on programming, public engagement, careers, wellness and PhD tips and tricks!
