The purpose of the Stewarton Bands Support Group is to work in collaboration with Instrumental Teaching staff to ensure the maximum number of children have the opportunity to play musical instruments and to learn musical skills by receiving tuition and performing with the Primary Six, Primary Seven, Junior Wind Ensemble, Intermediate Wind Ensemble and Senior Wind Ensemble bands representing the Stewarton Learning Community schools.

We work to ensure that no pupils are unable to participate for financial reasons.

We fund the bands to perform competitively in different events across the country.

The bands also provide the opportunity for young people to mix socially and make new friends.
