My name is Kevin Stewart and I am from Greensboro, NC.  I received my B.A in Sports and Recreation Management from Ashford University in 2012 and my Teaching Certification from East Carolina University. With nearly 11 years experience working with people who are differently-abled, I continue to learn from my students and families and the relationships we develop.   I spent nine years in the U.S Army from 1992 - 2001. I love traveling with my family.  I’m a father of four boys. My wife Tamarind and I have been married for 24 years, she is an Alumni of UNC Chapel Hill and Gonzaga University. She is the Proposal Development Manager in the College of Engineering at Duke University.  In my spare time I like to coach and play golf with family and friends.

 When students are absent, traveling, or school is closed, students may work on individual assignments by logging in Canvas from any location.

There is a free Canvas (Student) app available if the student has access to a mobile device or to log in from a computer,

Username is the student’s ID number.  

Password is in the following format:

Uppercase first name initial, lowercase last name initial, !, DOB (8 digit format)
