The collective met as classmates in the 2023 Cohort of Bartram Garden’s “Building Your Home Apothecary." After the majestic experience of that learning journey, we wanted to continue growing and deepening our relationship to the land, ourselves, and our ancestors. Kickstarted by illi at the top of 2024, we tended to the seed of this emerging concept and received guidance from many BYHA alumni, instructors, and herbalist friends. In late 2024, we then found our growing home at Aspen Farms where we plan to begin a full growing season in 2025. In Spring of 2025, we will begin a Study Circle Group with Philadelphia Area Cooperative Alliance (PACA) to begin forming our Cooperative strategies and visions.
