About Steve

Steve Williams, President and CEO of Subligna Valley Productions, was born in Atlanta, Georgia and raised in the Atlanta suburb of Snellville.

Growing up in Snellville, Steve was a shy, awkward, and geeky kid who was into mopeds and the debate team during high school.

After graduating from South Gwinnett High School, Steve attended North Georgia College (now University of North Georgia), where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a Business Administration minor. While at North Georgia, he was in their Corps of Cadets.

Steve spent over 30 years in information technology, starting as a night shift mainframe computer operator and working his way to COBOL programmer and systems analyst. He retired in 2018 as a Oracle and SQL Server database administrator with the State of Georgia.

Steve is a proud member of Lions and Toastmasters. In both organizations, he has served as a club officer and as a district governor (Toastmasters: 2004-2005, Lions: 2019-2020). He holds an advanced-class Amateur (Ham) Radio license (KC4AZO) and is also a self-proclaimed "roadgeek" (Check out "The Georgia Road Geek" on Facebook) and music geek (Check out "Chillin' With Steve", a Live365 internet radio station featuring an Eclectic AF mix of Steve's favorite music).

In addition to Lions, Toastmasters, etc., Steve is an avid league bowler with a local seniors league, United States Bowling Congress member, and a PBA fan. His favorite bowlers include Pete Weber, Packy Hanrahan, Brad Miller, and Kyle Sherman. BTW, don't ask him what is average is. :)

Steve and his wife Mary currently live in the metro Atlanta area and have 2 "fur babies" (cats), Bella, and Spanky.
