Ward 1
I’m proud to be a Rocket. Finding Bay Village has truly been one of the best things to happen to me. This is where I’ve chosen to raise my family, and it’s where I’ve built a life rooted in community, care, and commitment.
Bay Village is a gem—a place of beauty, potential, and strong community values. I’m running for City Council because I believe we can make it even better. My goal is to help ensure Bay Village remains a vibrant, welcoming, and sustainable place for generations to come.
Community First: I will always prioritize the needs and voices of Ward 1 residents.
Keeping Bay's Tree Canopy: One of Bay's most charming characteristics. Our canopy provides beauty, shade, and is home to many wonderful animals!
Inclusivity & Diversity: Everyone deserves to feel at home here. I will work to make Bay Village a place where all people feel welcome and valued.
I was proudly raised in Garfield Heights, where my love for sports—and especially wrestling—shaped much of who I am today. Wrestling became my true calling, teaching me discipline, resilience, and the value of hard work. I graduated from Trinity High School in 2003 and went on to earn my degree from Ashland University in 2007. Today, I’m lucky to share life with my incredible wife, Paige Swidarski (Miller-Morand BHS Class of 2002), and we’re the proud parents of two amazing boys, Kevin (11) and Gabe (10). Watching them grow and thrive has been one of life’s greatest joys. I also have the privilege of coaching the Bay Wrestling Club, where I get to give back to the sport that gave me so much.
With 18 years of experience at Cleveland-based companies—15 at Sherwin-Williams and the past 3 at Eaton—I’ve built a career rooted in leadership, accountability, and service. For the last three years, I’ve served as a Product Manager and Agile practitioner, roles that demand a deep commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of others. This mindset of collaboration and follow-through uniquely positions me to serve effectively as your city councilman. I’m ready to bring that same dedication and results-driven approach to our community, ensuring every voice is heard and every promise is pursued with purpose.
