A. Kinder families are dismissed at 1:40 pm and their families are responsible for them since this event starts after Kinder dismissal. Families of grade 1-5 are responsible for their kiddos after dismissal. Please make sure there is someone watching your students after 2:45 pm. Q. Water Bottle Stations
A. This year we've partnered closely with the eco team. In our effort to stay green, we will have bottle stations along the field grouped by classroom and compost bins.
Water Bottle Stations: Reduce cup waste by putting your child's name on their water bottle for use at the WAT. We'll have stations labeled by grade color, teacher's name & room number. Don't worry - the standard water coolers and cups will still be available to ensure hydration of everyone. (Teachers, please ask students to bring their water bottles to the WAT and place them in the proper station.)
Compost Bins: Please put food scraps and paper materials into the compost bins at WAT.
Q. Is there a shared photo album?
A. Definitely! Please share YOUR children's photos here.
Q. Anything else I should think about the day of Walkathon?
COMFORT! We recommend bringing some comfort items. Picnic blankets, chairs, sunscreen, water bottles, sunglasses, hats and shade if you can! It can get hot on the field.
Bathroom Reminders! Adults: a reminder that for safety reasons adults should not ever be using or entering the children's restroom. If you are unsure, please ask. You are welcome to use the bathrooms on the field over by the basketball courts or the staff bathrooms by the garden.
Money! Bring money for food, snacks, Raffles and FUNraiser PACT Parties! All food purchases goes towards our overall fundraising goal!
