Steven Rich is an organizational psychologist and former US Air Force Senior officer who has provided marriage and family counseling, and pastoral services to leaders and their families, in the US Department of Defense, in the White House, the Department of Education, the Department of Health and Human Services and for US Foreign service staffs abroad.

His achievements and writings have been featured in numerous newspapers and radio broadcasts throughout the United States, Europe, and military installations around the globe. His diverse and energetic ministry has earned him many awards and citations including the White House Communications Agency Hall of Fame in 1997 for his support to the Presidential Communications staff and Secret Service, as well as his nomination by US Senator Harry Reid for Chaplain of the United States Senate in 1992, and his nomination by the US Air Force Chief of Chaplains, and the Deputy Assistant to the Secretary of Defense nomination for the Chaplain to the US House of Representatives in 1999.

Serving as a Navy Chaplain for over 5 years, Steven provided marriage and family programs to Navy Personnel at Navy bases in Virginia and on board ship to sailors and marines and Foreign Service staffs from Helsinki, Finland, to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. For an additional 14 years, he served as an Air Force Chaplain, providing seminars and counseling programs to pilots, aircrews and senior joint military leaders serving around the globe from Germany to Saudi Arabia and from Wyoming to Washington. Additionally, he has provided chaplain support to the White House Communications Agency, the Pentagon, and numerous agencies in the National Capital Region.

He is also a graduate in Leadership and Management at the US Air Force, Air Command and Staff College and a graduate of the US Air Force University Strategic Studies and International Relations at the US Air Force Air War College in Montgomery, Alabama. He is an ordained minister and a member of the United Methodist Church in Western Pennsylvania Conference.
