About Steve
Physiotherapy Informed by a Lifelong Passion for Movement
I began my career as a rehabilitation specialist in the British Army in 2004 before graduating from York St John University with a degree in Physiotherapy in 2014. Since then, I have continued to expand my expertise through further study in sports massage, acupuncture, and strength and conditioning. In 2024, I completed advanced musculoskeletal training with the Society of Musculoskeletal Medicine.
Having founded and successfully run my own clinic in the UK, I have extensive experience working with people from all walks of life and treating a wide range of conditions. I am passionate about helping people recover from injury, restore function, and return to the activities they love. My experience also includes working with professional athletes, supporting their rehabilitation and return to competition.
Outside of my clinical work, I have a strong passion for sport, particularly running, and am a Canadian Masters Champion over 5 km. My combination of clinical experience, specialist training, and personal sporting achievements gives me a well-rounded understanding of athletic performance, injury rehabilitation, and long-term physical health.
My approach
Every treatment plan I create is tailored to your unique goals and comfort level, blending clinical physiotherapy with gentle, structured exercises to build long-term strength and resilience. We will look at your movement patterns as a whole to help you regain your independence, comfort, and performance. Let's work together to get you moving forward.
Who I work with
I am particularly interested in helping runners and active people manage injuries, return to exercise and maintain their ability to participate in the activities they enjoy.
I also work within my competence with people experiencing other musculoskeletal problems, with care tailored to the individual presentation.
