Steve Manzano

Steve Manzano is a Filipino artist-cultural worker whose practice overlaps with community work. He practiced socially engage art and intersects with performance, painting, poetry, and ceramics. His projects and initiatives are community-based collaboration, alternative education, art therapy, and street art that explore archipelagic thinking to harness artistry and local knowledge — working with weaving of narratives of intergenerational stories in rural and indigenous communities. He was the first Ritual Alchemist for Philippine Heart Summit. He exhibited his works in different platform both physical and metaverse locally and internationally. He was fellows of AYEJ Environmental Storytelling, Climate tracker Asia, GCERF Peace Education, and participated in academic fellowship and trainings with Work that Reconnects Network, Advaya Courses, and Forest School Education Certification.
