Empty Bowls began in Wichita Falls in 2012 under the leadership of Paula Perkins and Leslie Schaffner with the Midwestern State University Ceramics community providing all of the bowls. The Steering Committee, Wichita Falls Area Food Bank, Donors, Artists, Restaurants, and Volunteers have given selflessly to raise funds to make sure fewer bowls go unfilled in our community.

To date, we have raised over $1.1 million for the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank, which ammounts to over 2.2 million meals.
