The LHS R.I.O.T. Step Team is in need of financial and in-kind donations. The school experience for students most always extends beyond the classroom, which is why we work hard at providing opportunities for step competitions in the Lexington area.

The step team’s season is already in full effect with biweekly practices, performances coming up in November with the first Boys’ and Girls’ basketball games and the annual Dance Blue competition coming up in January 2022.

The step team’s first big competition is the University of KY Cheers for the New Year. Working with the students of Lafayette High School, the coach and parent committee are so excited to bring this opportunity to our kids. However, with the costs of uniforms, entry into the competition, and transportation, we need to reach out to our school’s community for the extra support to push us to the finish line.
