How can a bunch of Kiwis play the Blues?

We want to revel in these songs and tell the Story of the Blues to the next generation.

We’re not trying to appropriate  those artists whose music we play. We’re taking a style that we love and applying our own talents and limitations just like every Blues Band before us has done before us.

But we'll  acknowledge the source, to the best of our ability, every time we play those old Blues songs. 

We also mix it up with some popular Blues Rock covers to keep things rolling along.

The Blues at its core, speaks to fundamental human experiences of joy, sorrow, struggle, and resilience. These themes resonate across cultures and geographical boundaries. The fact that we live in a country so far away from the Blues' origin highlights the universal appeal and enduring power of this music. 

By playing the Blues, we hope to introduce this vital art form to new audiences and ensure its evolution and appreciation worldwide.
