2017–2018: Formation, debut and I Am series
In August 2017, JYP Entertainment (JYPE) announced its new reality survival show with the goal of launching a male idol debut project. The company released more details in the next two months, including the show's title, Stray Kids. Prior to its premiere on October 17, JYPE released Stray Kids' first music video titled "Hellevator", which was later released as a digital single. SKZ AT MET GALA 2024
Stray Kids just made history at the Met Gala 2024. All eight members of the K-Pop boy group — Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N — just made their Met Gala red carpet debut together, marking the very first time that an entire group has attended the event together, and, of course, they had to do it in style.
Stray Kids was invited to the Met Gala on behalf of American designer label Tommy Hilfiger. Earlier this year, the group starred in Tommy Hilfiger's spring 2024 Campaign and now, they’re representing the brand on the Met Gala red carpet. The Stray Kids members' looks have been designed by Tommy Hilfiger with the Met Gala 2024 theme, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” and dress code, “The Garden of Time," in mind.
