2026 SUMMER DANCE CLASSES
Ready to mix things up this summer?
We have options for both of our recreational and competitive dancers. Our recreational dance Mash-Up class is the perfect way to sample a variety of dance styles in a fun, low-pressure environment. Each week features a different style—think hip hop, jazz, musical theatre, ballet, and more—giving dancers the chance to explore something new while building coordination, rhythm, and confidence. Whether you're trying dance for the first time or you're already grooving, this class is a great way to stay active and inspired all summer long! Competitive dancers can continue their training during the summer with one of our technique/ballet classes.

RECREATIONAL CLASS OPTIONS
Available for dancers aged 4-12
Pre-School Mash-Up Age 4-5 (Born 2021-2022)
We offer pre-school mash-up classes at both of our Hampton and Sussex locations.
Dancers who are turning 4 this calendar year can register by contacting admin at info@stepintimedance.ca
Hampton Location: Thursdays 5:00-5:30pm (July 2-August 20, 2026)
Sussex Location: Tuesdays 5:00-5:30pm (June 30-August 18, 2026)
Cost: $90/summer (includes hst)
School Age 6-8 (Born 2018-2020)
We offer school aged mash-up classes at both of our Hampton and Sussex locations.

PRE-COMPETITIVE TRAINING
This class is perfect for dancers who are looking for an intro to competitive training.
Available for dancers who are recreational and selected for pre-competitive trainng. If your dancer was attending these classes during the 2025-2026 season they can register for this class again. They may be moved to an alternate class depending on their skill level. Dancers are selected by instructors for this class. If you would like to participate in this class can contact admin at info@stepintimedance.ca to see if this class is an appropriate fit for your dancer. This class can be taken in combination with the mash-up class or on it's own during the summer session. For the summer session, competitive prep classes will take place at the Sussex Location (654 Main Street, Sussex).
Sussex Location: Mondays 5:00-6:00pm (June 22-August 17, 2025 - no class on NB Day Monday)
Cost: $105/summer (includes hst)
Cost for both mash-up and competitive prep combined: $145/summer (includes hst)
COMPETITIVE TRAINING
Available to dancers who are in the existing competitive program. Recreational dancers who wish to be considered for one of our competitive programs can contact admin at info@stepintimedance.ca. Competitive team placements will take place in June 2026.

Sussex Location
Mondays 6:00-7:30pm Level B Technique Age 6-11

Tuesdays 5:00-6:30pm Level B Technique Age 8-12

Tuesdays 6:30-7:30pm Ballet + Strength

Tuesdays 7:30-9:00pm Level A Techniaue Age 11+

Note: the ballet and A technique have been switched in the schedule. This is slightly different than what was sent out in email
Dancers can attend either location or both if there is more than 1 location offered for that class. You can also choose to take ballet and technique or one and the other. If you register for more than one class we have to apply the discount manually on Dakiki so you may not see it immediately. Here are the costs for additional classes
1.5 Hours per week: $120/summer
2 Hours per week: $145/summer
2.5 Hours per week: $160/summer
4 Hours per week: $200/summer
PAYMENTS
Payment can be send by e-transfer to info@stepintimedance.ca (unclude your dancer's name in the message field) or we can charge the card on file June 5th provided you have a card on file. If no payment is received your dancer will be dropped from the class and we will go to the next dancer on the waiting list.
Note: if you are new to our studio, you will need to create a dakiki account using the link above. Once you create that account you will need to activate your account using the link sent to your email. Check your junk/spam folder if you do not see an activation email. This step is needed to activate your account.
