I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Theoretical Astrophysics at the University of Oslo working on how Active Galactic Nuclei interact and co-evolve with their host galaxy, with a particular focus on the molecular gas in the host galaxies (see Research for more info). I am also a member of the AtLAST consortium where I am coordinating the science drivers and leading the communication and coordination of outreach activities.
I was previously a postdoc at the University of Southampton and before that I had obtained my PhD at the Astrophysics Research Institute (Liverpool John Moores University) under the supervision of Dr. Renske Smit and Prof. Steve Longmore. I also spent two years of my PhD at the European Southern Observatory (ESO), under the supervision of Dr. Gabriela Calistro Rivera and Dr. Carlos de Breuck after successfully applying to the studentship program.
I am also very passionate about science communication and outreach work, previously completing an internship at ESO in the science communication department and participating in several outreach events, something which I hope to do more of in the future!
