As Board President I am working on creating a more collaborative Board via Professional Development, streamlining committees for enhanced communication, and working closely with school district leadership to create a highly effective leadership team.
During my term as Treasurer, I worked with the Administration by using value engineering techniques that create savings while still making significant investments. This maximizes financial performance for stakeholders and minimizes tax increases.

By continuing to implement strategies like Dual Enrollment with regional colleges, Cycle for Curricular Excellence (CCE) that creates an environment for continuous improvement in curriculum, and Career & Technical Education (CTE) with our LCTI partner, we will continue to increase our ranking as one of the leading school districts in Pennsylvania.

Collaboration is critical in moving forward as a school district and I work with all stakeholders to maximize our potential for success.
As part of the Facilities Committee for almost 4-years, we have made significant progress in our operation. The new athletic facility was under budget while implementing a multi-sport strategy that includes more sports and increased seating capacity.
Over the past four years, we have invested $24M in facility improvements including HVAC System upgrades that replaced decades old, outdated equipment.
Budgeting & Taxes
Continue a practical, common sense approach to budgeting and focused planning of priorities can keep our school taxes at current levels.
As Treasurer I worked with the Administration by using Value Engineering to find savings while still making significant investments. This minimizes tax increases.
By using a zero-based budgeting methodology, our budget stays under control by eliminating waste.
These efforts have upgraded our Moody Bond Credit Rating to AA1.
There is more work to do! The High School Library has been significantly upgraded to maximize utilization by many groups and for many interests.
As current projects are completed, new ones such as the auditorium and support areas will be investigated.

Safety for Our Students
Safety for our students and community is paramount and continues to be a priority.
I worked closely with Administration collaborating on a solution to the JPLIS brick restoration project to find the most practical way to upgrade the brick facade areas to prevent safety hazards.
