I am an Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) in Accounting at Copenhagen Business School since September 2026. I was a PhD candidate at Erasmus University Rotterdam from Sept 2022-Aug 2026 (PhD dissertation defense planned for Nov 2026). During the 2024-2025 academic year, I was a visiting PhD student at the University of Colorado Boulder. Prior to joining the PhD, I received a research master's degree in Business Data Science, as well as bachelor's degrees in Econometrics & Operations Research and in Economics & Business Economics.

My research is centered around disclosure and regulation in which I leverage my data science background to systematically process and interpret textual disclosures. My work is driven by a deep interest in understanding how firms strategically use disclosure as both a communication tool and a response to institutional and informational frictions, and how regulation shapes firm (disclosure) behaviour. Some of my projects examine firm disclosure responses to regulatory shocks (e.g., the EU AI Act and U.S. state-level pay transparency laws), another project explores disclosure choices more broadly (e.g., in a loss-making environment), and two other projects consider how regulatory fragmentation relates to corporate misconduct. Collectively, my work contributes to our understanding of firms' (disclosure) behaviour, especially in contemporary settings.
