OVERVIEW
The EONNECT Course Analytics Dashboard project was designed to provide a holistic view of the platform's performance. It addressed the need for a data-driven approach to understand key business metrics, identify growth opportunities, and improve the learning experience for subscribers. The project delved into various aspects, from financial performance and pricing models to subscriber engagement and content effectiveness.
OBJECTIVES
The primary objectives of this project were to:
Analyze EONNECT's course revenue and pricing strategy to identify profitable segments and optimize pricing.
Understand the subscriber base and course engagement patterns to enhance user retention and satisfaction.
Evaluate content performance, including lecture count, duration, and popularity by course level and subject.
Analyze course reviews and feedback to identify areas for improvement and maintain high course quality.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize content strategy, pricing, and user engagement.

APPROACH
The project followed a multi-faceted analytical approach, structured around key performance areas:
Phase 1: Revenue and Pricing Analysis
Calculated overall financial performance metrics such as total revenue, total subscribers, and average price per course.
Analyzed the distribution of courses across different price categories (mid-range, high-price, free).
Evaluated revenue generation by individual course categories (e.g., Web Development, Business Finance) and by price category.
Phase 2: Subscriber and Course Engagement Analysis
Assessed overall engagement metrics like total lectures and average content duration.
Examined subscriber-to-lecture ratios for individual courses to gauge popularity.
Analyzed subscriber distribution across different course levels.
Investigated the relationship between content duration and subscriber count.
Phase 3: Review Analysis and Course Feedback
Quantified the total number of reviews and courses on the platform.
Identified top courses by the number of reviews.
Analyzed review distribution by course level and subject.
Explored the correlation between the number of subscribers and reviews to understand the impact of popularity on feedback.
Phase 4: Content and Level Insights
Calculated average number of lectures per course and average course duration.
Analyzed the distribution of lectures by course level (All Levels, Beginner, Intermediate, Expert).
Examined subscriber distribution by course level and subject to understand demand.
Assessed total content duration by course level and duration category (Short, Medium, Long).
KEY INSIGHTS
The analysis yielded several critical insights for EONNECT:
Strong Revenue Generation: EONNECT achieved a total revenue of $884.2 million from 11.7 million subscribers, with an average price per course of $66.0.
Mid-Range Course Dominance: Mid-range priced courses were the most numerous (2.6K courses) and contributed the highest revenue ($654.8 million), indicating their strong market appeal. High-priced courses, though fewer (722), also significantly contributed ($229.4 million).
Web Development as a Revenue Driver: Web Development courses generated the highest revenue ($630.8 million), followed by Business Finance ($600 million), highlighting key content areas.
Popularity of "Learn Java" and "Learn HTML5 Programming": These courses showed high subscriber-to-lecture ratios and subscriber counts, indicating strong demand.
Content Length Versatility: Both longer courses (e.g., "The Web Developer Bootcamp" at 43 hours with high subscribers) and shorter, concise courses (e.g., "Build Your First Website in 1 Hour" at 3 hours with high subscribers) proved effective.
High Demand for "All Levels" and "Beginner" Courses: These course levels had the highest number of lectures and subscribers, suggesting a significant audience for foundational and broadly accessible content.
Positive Correlation between Subscribers and Reviews: Courses with more subscribers tended to receive more reviews, implying that high-quality, popular courses attract more feedback.
Web Development Review Dominance: Web Development courses received the highest number of reviews (282.3K), reinforcing their popularity and engagement.
