Human-AI problem-solving for organizational learning

In large organizations, particularly within the public sector, hybrid intelligence offers transformative potential for organizational-level human-AI problem-solving by leveraging the complementary strengths of both humans and machines. This concept is exemplified by an ongoing collaboration with Het Juridisch Loket (the Dutch Legal Desk), where we developed an expert learning system designed to facilitate knowledge elicitation and transfer within an organizational learning context. The system captures strategic decision-making knowledge from senior legal advisors and presents it to junior legal advisors through interactive patterns. This system contributes toward higher quality and more accessible legal services for the public. This process enhances machine intelligence with human insights and enriches human intelligence with machine precision, demonstrating the significant potential of hybrid intelligence.
