The Coast (2024) is a precipice, on the edge between land and sea. This painting is a metaphor for arrivals and departures, joy and sadness. The natural beauty is juxtaposed against submerged feelings spanning from the joy of summer holidays at the beach to the arrival of refugees escaping war zones and arriving on coastlines.
