Q. Can I use your data & documents, and if so where can I download it from?

We welcome the reuse of our data & documents, for academic, educational and personal use, subject to the following conditions.

Data and documents created by Stennis Historical Society and published on this website can be freely downloaded and used on a non-commercial basis, subject to a credit being given to us.

Where appropriate we have indicated other organisations’ copyrights (e.g. images from the National Libraries of Scotland). The copyright markers must not be removed and the copyrighted material must not be sold.

The Cantonment maps can be copied and distributed free of charge (i.e. not sold) subject to none of the images being removed or obscured. This includes the Stennis Historical Society name and any associated logo.

Note that any documents and data we publish is subject to revision. If you wish to use any documents or data for academic purposes, we recommend contacting us via our website enquiry form so we can keep you updated on future changes.
