Become a Certified Recreational Pilot!
This is required by federal law to fly a remotely controlled vehicle in the United States (technically only for outdoors, but it's still important). See the pilotinstitute for more information.
Learn to Fly on a Simulator!
We use TinyWhoopGo, which is free and a GREAT way to start flying FPV quadcopters!
Race Against Other Students!
Get even better by competing against other pilots!
If you're interested, feel free to contact Mr. Duda!
If you're looking to get into FPV Tiny Whoop Flying and Racing on your own, I suggest the following items:
Emax Transporter Goggles (because they're cheap...and not horrible. However, this is where I would spend a little more money.)
All links are to listings with RaceDayQuads. They have AWESOME customer service, and support the hobby with advocacy. I try to order from them whenever possible.
I also HIGHLY suggest learning to fly on a simulator like TinyWhoopGo before you fly your quadcopter. It is much cheaper to crash in the simulator than in real life. Great simulators:
