9/27/23 - Moses created our website and we began attempting to create different flags. This required us to figure out what type of functions we needed to make and utilize in order for our code successful.
9/28/23 - BJ finished his first flag (Nigeria) which can be shown on the Projects page.
9/29/23 - Moses finished our Social Studies Component while the others were working on their projects.
Week of September 27-29, 2023:
The start of our project journey was this week. Moses began creating the website and we dug into the challenges of designing a variety of flags. In order to secure the success of our project, we had to learn about functions and utilize the correct ones. We also refined the presentation of Omobolaji's Nigeria flag on the Projects page, giving attention to detail. e completed the Social Studies component.
10/02/23 - Today we finished up our STEM SOS page by adding social media links and embedded videos.
10/03/23 - We created a Driving Question, Introduction and added a better description to Omobolaji Nigeria flag.(Projects Page)
10/04/23 - Today we didn't really work on our PBL project, we worked on 6.3 Karel to learn how to use variables in javascript to advance our programming skills.
10/05/23 - Today we had an interview with an active Project Manager who did IT/Computer Science and he told us how it worked and how to apply what we're doing to the real world and get a job.
10/06/23 - We continued to work on our flags. (It's taking us a long time because we are doing complex flags.)
Week of October 2-6/2023:
We continued learning via CODEHS by exploring 6.3 Karel, enhancing our understanding of variables in JavaScript. After that, we had an interview with a Project Manager. Drawing from IT and Computer Science expertise, he illuminated the real-world applications of our work and provided guidance on entering the job market. While this happened, we also continued working on our flags.
10/10/23 - Today we did CodeHS work and learned how user Inputs work.
10/19/23 - We decided to change from African flags to European flags. Today Moses did Swedish flag and added it to the my PBL project slide.
10/31/23 - Emmanuel made his Norway flag and created a description which can be seen in the "Our PBL Project" page. We also changed a few things about the theme of the website.
October 10-31
We did a lot during these days but we mainly focused on our flags. Emmanual finished his Norway flag and added a description, and we began focusing on mainly European flags. Since we revamped our project completely, there wasn't a lot to put here.
11/2/23 - Today we began creating an HTML website about our PBL project.
11/3/23 - Moses finished his HTML demo website and added it onto the PBL PROJECT(2) Page
Week of November 2-3, 2023: In early November, we diversified our learning by exploring 6.3 Karel, enhancing our understanding of variables in JavaScript. We also learned about HTML.
11/13/23 - BJ Finished the flag of Switzerland and added it onto our PBL PROJECT page.
11/15/23- We used CodeHS and learned about CSS select with Class, ID, and Tag.
11/27/23 - BJ added a small description to his Switzerland Flag.
11/28/23 - Gabriel finished his Flag of Guernsey and we created a video for our English component.
November - Gabriel finished his Guernsey Flag and BJ finished his Switzerland Flag, while we learned about CSS select with Class, ID, and Tag. Eventually, we created videos for each of our components and added descriptions to ALL of the flags on the "Our PBL Project" website.
12/8/23 - We completed our PBL Project
12/11/23 - Our PBL project got rejected so we are fixing it.
12/13/23 - We are ready to resubmit the PBL Project.
